Sport For All Day on Aug 7

The Leisure & Cultural Services Department (LCSD) will hold Sport For All Day 2022 on August 7, during which a series of free recreation and sports programmes will be offered and various leisure facilities will be open to the public for free.   The focal sport of this year's event is electronic virtual sports, a combination of sports and electronic technology.   Recreational activities, health talks, sports demonstrations and fitness corners, sports activities for parents, children and adolescents as well as fun games for the elderly and people with disabilities will be held from 2pm to 6pm on the event day at designated sports centres in 18 districts.   Activity coupons will be distributed from 8.30am on July 25 at the department's district leisure services offices and designated venues.   The facilities that will be open for free include indoor and outdoor leisure facilities, public swimming pools and craft hiring at water sports centres.   Bookings can be made online and at Leisure Link booking counters, except self-service kiosks, from 7am on August 1 on a first come, first served basis.   Each person can only book one free session. No prior booking is required for public swimming pools.   Additionally, sports demonstrations will be featured in a live webcast via the event website and the LCSD Plusss Facebook page from 2pm on the same day.
