4 imported COVID-19 cases found

The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating four additional imported COVID-19 cases, three of which involve the L452R mutant strain while the remaining case’s mutation test result is pending.   The four patients arrived from the Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore. All of them tested positive for the virus during quarantine.   A total of 64 cases were reported in Hong Kong in the past 14 days. One is a local case with an unknown infection source and the rest are imported.   For information and health advice on COVID-19, visit the Government’s dedicated webpage.
