Green link design contest opens

Entries are being invited for a design competition on a green link in Wong Chuk Hang until October 22 and the deadline for submitting entries is noon on November 20.   Jointly organised by the Development Bureau's Invigorating Island South Office, the Architectural Services Department and the Institute of Architects, the contest aims to gather innovative ideas for creating a convenient green link connecting Wong Chuk Hang and Aberdeen Country Park through a series of attractive sitting-out areas and pedestrian facilities.   Qualified architects, landscape architects and urban designers are welcome to form teams with other professionals, artists, designers and members of the public aged 18 or above to join the competition.        A briefing session will be held online at 10.30am on September 18.
