1 imported COVID-19 case found
The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating one additional COVID-19 case involving a 43-year-old man who arrived from the UK.
The centre also announced that, taking into consideration the epidemiological information and genetic sequencing findings, it has amended the classification of a case involving a 27-year-old man, case number 11902, from a local case with unknown sources to epidemiologically linked with imported cases.
Another case involving a 24-year-old woman, case number 11918, which is epidemiologically linked to this case, will also be reclassified to the same category.
A total of 42 cases were reported in Hong Kong in the past 14 days, including 40 imported cases and two import-related cases.
The centre also reminded people in relation to Wan Hang House of Wan Tau Tong Estate in Tai Po to undergo testing in accordance with the compulsory testing notice on June 30.
