15 COVID-19 cases detected

The Centre for Health Protection today said it is investigating 15 additional COVID-19 cases, all of which are imported.   They involve seven males and eight females aged between eight and 78 who arrived from Nepal, India and Indonesia.   A total of 143 cases have been recorded in the past 14 days, including 35 local cases, of which 15 have unknown infection sources.   The centre reminded the public that two service providers, HK PICK-UP and HelloToby Technology (HK), will provide door-to-door specimen collection services for virus testing during the Labour Day holiday on May 1. People undergoing compulsory home quarantine can make advance bookings to submit their deep throat saliva sample through the service.   For information and health advice on COVID-19, visit the Government's dedicated webpage.
