Over 420k people receive jabs

Around 420,900 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19, with about 269,600 people receiving their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine and about 151,300 their first dose of the BioNTech jab, the Government announced.   About 8,200 people received their first dose of the Sinovac vaccine under the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme today. Among them about 5,900 people received the jabs at eight community vaccination centres.   About 2,300 people received the vaccines at private doctors and clinics participating in the programme.   As of 8pm today, about 4,500 people had reserved their first and second doses of the Sinovac vaccine online in the past 24 hours.   As of midnight, five people were sent to the hospital for treatment.
